Construction Associate (Non-Contentious) London | 2–5 PQE | Leading International Firm
A leading international law firm is looking to recruit a Non-Contentious Construction Associate into its London-based Construction & Engineering team.
The team has an established and growing practice acting across a broad range of commercial and residential development matters, with particular strength advising developers, owners, investors and real estate stakeholders on complex construction projects.
This opportunity offers exposure to a varied pipeline of development-led work, alongside genuine scope for progression, responsibility and client contact within a collaborative and well-supported environment.
The Role You will work closely with senior lawyers and partners advising on a broad range of construction and engineering matters, including:
- Building contracts
- Framework agreements
- Call-off contracts
- Consultant appointments
- Pre-construction service agreements
- Bespoke construction documentation
- Commercial and residential development projects
- Real estate-led transactional support
The role will involve regular client interaction, managing your own matters and contributing to wider business development and practice growth initiatives.
The Candidate Suitable candidates are likely to have:
- 2–5 PQE in non-contentious construction
- Experience advising on commercial and/or residential development projects
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- A solid academic background
- Confidence working directly with clients and senior stakeholders
- A collaborative and commercially minded approach
