As part of our strategy, we proudly support a range of incredible causes, including our long-standing partnership with Wood Street Mission. For several years, we have had the privilege of helping Wood Street Mission with their charity efforts. Based in Manchester, they support families on low incomes who struggle to make ends meet. Beyond this, our team actively drives fundraising initiatives for vital national causes; in September 2026, members of the Douglas Scott Run Club took part in a 10k charity run to raise crucial funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society, Child Bereavement UK, and Sense.
We maintain a policy of "minimum waste" which is essential to the cost-effective and efficient running of all our operations. We recycle paper, plastic, tins and printer cartridges and our old electrical equipment is donated to a local charity for up-cycling. Our office is within a Grade A refurbished, energy-efficient workspace featuring recycled materials, high-performance infrastructure, smart heating and cooling systems (VRF air conditioning), energy-efficient LED lighting, abundant atmospheric indoor planting improve air quality, and high-efficiency modern fixtures designed to reduce overall energy consumption in an open-plan environment.
