A leading Top 50 London law firm is looking to add a
Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor to its growing construction team.
The team is well regarded for its work across
real estate development, regeneration, hospitality, logistics, student accommodation, healthcare, education, energy and infrastructure. The role offers strong exposure to high-quality development-led construction work, with close collaboration across real estate, finance and projects teams.
The Role You will advise on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters, including:
- Building contracts
- Consultant appointments
- Collateral warranties
- Parent company guarantees
- Bonds
- Novation agreements
- Development agreements
- Forward funding support
- Construction aspects of acquisitions, disposals and financing
- Building Safety Act and remediation-related matters
The work will be
JCT-heavy, with exposure to NEC and bespoke project documentation.
The Candidate The ideal candidate will be:
- 2–5 PQE
- Experienced in non-contentious construction
- Comfortable with real estate development-related work
- Confident drafting and negotiating construction documents
- Commercial, client-facing and keen to take on responsibility
- Interested in working closely with real estate, finance and private capital clients
Experience with developer-side work, regeneration schemes, hotels/leisure, student accommodation, logistics, real estate finance or Building Safety Act matters would be particularly relevant.
