A well-established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Associate or Senior Associate to join its expanding property team based in North London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and proactive solicitor looking to play a key role within a dynamic and collaborative department. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential property matters while contributing to the continued growth and development of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a broad range of residential property transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, refinancing matters, and lease work.
- Advising a diverse client base including investors, developers, landlords, and tenants.
- Running a full caseload independently while maintaining high standards of client care.
- Developing relationships with local agents, referrers, and contacts to generate new business opportunities.
- Supporting the growth and strategic development of the property department alongside senior colleagues.
- Participating in business development, networking, and marketing initiatives, including contributing to newsletters and legal updates.
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members, including trainees and paralegals.
- Ensuring compliance with SRA regulations, professional conduct rules, and internal risk management procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in residential property law.
- Strong technical knowledge across a wide range of residential conveyancing matters.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and client relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to manage a busy caseload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience would be beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong academic background, ideally with a 2:1 or First-Class undergraduate degree.
