Associate - Commercial (Energy)

This is an excellent opportunity to join a top-tier practice advising on a broad range of commercial and transactional energy work, supporting major projects and high-profile clients across the sector.The Role
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial energy contracts, including power purchase and fuel supply agreements
- Supporting on the development, financing and sale of energy and infrastructure projects
- Providing due diligence and advisory support on complex transactions
- Working closely with clients including utilities, developers, regulators and major corporates
- Collaborating with colleagues across corporate, finance and regulatory teams
- 1–4 PQE with strong commercial contracts experience
- Some exposure to the energy sector (desirable)
- Strong drafting, analytical and research skills
- Commercially minded, pragmatic and confident working directly with clients
