Employment Associate

About the Role As an Associate, you will manage a mixed caseload of employment matters, providing expert HR and employment law advice to clients and conducting advocacy at Employment Tribunals. You will work closely with the wider team to deliver high-quality, timely legal support, while contributing to business development initiatives, client training, and legal updates.
Key Responsibilities - Manage your own employment caseload, including tribunal advocacy.
- Provide clear, practical HR and employment law advice to a diverse client base.
- Assist colleagues with caseloads and team projects as required.
- Draft letters, emails, legal documents, tribunal responses, bundles, witness statements, and reports.
- Produce client management information (MI) reports.
- Draft articles and legal updates for clients.
- Support business development activities, including client training and networking.
- Work to agreed financial and chargeable targets, adhering to internal SLAs and procedures.
About You - Qualified solicitor with 3–6 years PQE, with experience or a strong interest in employment law.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
- Strong technical knowledge and academics, with an interest in real estate or development/regeneration matters being advantageous.
- Experience in tribunal advocacy is desirable.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in IT and able to produce high-quality documentation efficiently.
