Cost Draftsman – Remote Working Opportunity

A growing professional services firm is seeking an experienced Cost Draftsman to join its established and supportive costs team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Cost Draftsman looking for a flexible working environment, with the ability to work remotely while being part of a collaborative and experienced team. The successful candidate will have access to ongoing support, guidance from experienced colleagues, and the opportunity to develop their skills across a varied costs workload.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing bills of costs, with the opportunity to gain further exposure to budgets and broader costs drafting work depending on experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing detailed and accurate bills of costs
• Assisting with wider costs drafting requirements
• Working across a range of files and matters
• Using specialist costs drafting software to manage workload effectively
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality work

About You

We are seeking a Cost Draftsman with around 3+ years’ experience, although candidates with strong relevant experience outside of this range will also be considered.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Solid experience preparing bills of costs
• Experience with budgets and wider costs drafting work (desirable)
• The ability to manage their own workload effectively in a remote environment
• A proactive approach with a desire to continue developing professionally

Candidates with strong billing experience who are looking to expand into broader drafting responsibilities will also be considered. This role is not suitable for trainee-level candidates.
