Property Litigation Associate / Solicitor

Birmingham – £55,000 - £65,000

With a strong national presence, the team is led by seven Partners and supported by a large and collaborative group of Senior Associates, Associates, Solicitors, Legal Executives, trainees and dedicated support staff.

The team acts for a wide range of clients including household name corporates, social housing providers, property owners, managers and funders.

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE to join its thriving national team.

Key Responsibilities

You will be involved in a varied caseload including:

• Landlord and tenant matters, including rent reviews, dilapidations and lease renewals
• Possession actions, trespass and squatter matters
• Service charge disputes
• Land and development-related disputes
• Strategic property and occupancy advice
• Acting for a diverse client base including large corporates, property owners and social housing providers
• Supporting business development activities and building strong professional relationships
• Working closely with senior lawyers to develop technical expertise across all aspects of property litigation

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE in Property Litigation
• Demonstrate strong academic ability and excellent technical skills
• Be proactive, organised and capable of managing a varied caseload
• Have strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
• Be a genuine team player with a collaborative mindset
• Show interest in business development and building professional networks
• Be motivated to develop within a leading national Property Litigation practice
