Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of quality work, the firm is now looking to appoint a Senior Corporate Associate to join its established and collaborative Corporate team.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Corporate Solicitor looking to take the next step within a respected regional practice offering high-quality work, strong client exposure and clear long-term progression opportunities.

Working closely with experienced Partners, you will advise on a broad range of transactional and advisory corporate matters whilst also managing your own caseload and developing client relationships.

Typical Matters Include:

• Mergers & acquisitions
• Share and asset sales and purchases
• Management buy-outs and buy-ins
• Joint ventures
• Shareholder agreements and articles of association
• Company restructures and group reorganisations
• Corporate governance and company secretarial matters
• Succession planning and exit strategies
• Owner-managed business advisory work
• EMI schemes and employee share arrangements
• Family investment company structures
• General corporate advisory support

The client base includes entrepreneurial businesses, family-owned companies and larger regional and national organisations.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
• Have approximately 5+ years’ PQE within Corporate law
• Possess strong experience handling a broad range of corporate transactions
• Be confident managing matters with an appropriate level of supervision
• Demonstrate excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• Have a commercial and pragmatic approach to advising clients
• Show an interest in business development and relationship management
• Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit and supportive team

Experience advising owner-managed businesses and family businesses would be advantageous, although not essential.
