If you’re a disputes lawyer with experience in data breach, privacy or cyber-related claims and want interesting work without billing pressure, this role is well worth a look.
You’ll join a well-established litigation team handling a growing stream of data breach and cyber security disputes, acting for businesses, insurers and public sector clients. The work is varied, technically engaging and very current, covering everything from individual and group data breach claims to complex cyber incidents and regulatory-adjacent disputes.

The role
You will manage your own caseload of commercial litigation matters with a strong focus on data breach and cyber claims. This will include advising on liability and quantum, handling pre-action strategy, drafting pleadings, managing disclosure and working closely with experts and counsel where required.
You will also support on larger, more complex matters and contribute to client relationships, reporting and business development activity in this fast-moving sector.
About you
You are likely to be a qualified solicitor with around 2-6 years’ PQE in commercial litigation or disputes. Experience of data protection, privacy, cyber incidents or claimant or defendant data breach work would be ideal, but strong litigators with relevant exposure will also be considered.
You should be comfortable running files, communicating with clients and working as part of a collaborative team. Commercial awareness and an interest in technology-driven disputes will be important.
