Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment is currently working with a highly regarded national law firm that is looking to recruit a Public Law Solicitor to join its growing Manchester team.
  
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to join a well-established department handling a broad range of publicly funded and complex public law matters.
  
The Role
  
• Manage a varied Public Law caseload from inception to conclusion
• Advise clients on complex public law matters
• Draft applications, representations and court documents
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies
• Attend hearings and undertake advocacy where appropriate
• Work closely with senior lawyers and team management
• Deliver exceptional client care and support vulnerable clients
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and funding requirements
  
The Candidate
  
• Qualified Solicitor with Public Law experience
• Experience managing a caseload independently
• Strong advocacy and client care skills
• Excellent drafting and communication abilities
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Experience working with publicly funded matters advantageous
• Passionate about helping vulnerable clients and achieving positive outcomes
