A highly regarded national law firm with an established international client base is looking to appoint a Construction Disputes Associate (2-5 PQE) into its London team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit, high-performing practice where you'll enjoy genuine responsibility from day one, working directly with experienced partners on complex and technically challenging disputes across the construction and infrastructure sector.

The team acts for developers, employers, contractors, consultants and public sector organisations on significant UK and cross-border matters, offering exposure to a broad range of contentious work rather than being confined to one niche.

What you'll do
  • Advise on a broad range of contentious construction and engineering disputes.
  • Work across adjudication, litigation, arbitration and mediation.
  • Handle disputes arising from major commercial developments, regeneration projects and infrastructure schemes.
  • Draft pleadings, witness statements and strategic advice.
  • Work closely with leading experts, King's Counsel and clients from the outset.
  • Build strong client relationships and take increasing ownership of your own matters as your experience develops.
What you'll need
  • Between 2 and 5 years' PQE in contentious construction.
  • Strong experience of adjudication and/or litigation, with arbitration experience welcomed.
  • Excellent technical drafting ability and commercial judgement.
  • Confidence working directly with clients and managing matters with appropriate supervision.
  • A collaborative approach and ambition to continue developing within a respected disputes practice.
