A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Housing Disrepair Paralegal to join an established and growing claimant litigation team in Greater Manchester.
This role would suit a Paralegal with at least 12 months' experience handling Housing Disrepair matters who is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and ambitious environment.
The firm is keen to invest in the right individual and is open to discussing Training Contract opportunities for exceptional candidates.
The Role You will assist with and manage Housing Disrepair matters, working alongside experienced fee earners within a busy litigation team.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Managing and progressing Housing Disrepair files
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Preparing court documents and bundles
  • Liaising with clients, experts and third parties
  • Reviewing evidence and disclosure
  • Negotiating settlements where appropriate
  • Delivering excellent client care throughout the claims process
Requirements
  • Minimum 12 months' Housing Disrepair experience
  • Litigation experience preferred
  • Ability to manage and progress files with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • LPC preferred but not essential
  • Ambitious and keen to develop within claimant litigation
