Housing Disrepair Fee Earner

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housing Disrepair Fee Earner to join an established and growing claimant litigation team in Greater Manchester.

The firm is looking for someone capable of picking up a litigated Housing Disrepair caseload and getting up to speed quickly. Candidates with at least 12 months' Housing Disrepair litigation experience are encouraged to apply.

The Role

• Managing a litigated Housing Disrepair caseload from inception through to conclusion
• Drafting court documentation and legal correspondence
• Negotiating settlements with landlords and their representatives
• Liaising with clients, experts and third parties
• Preparing matters for hearings and trial where required
• Delivering high levels of client care throughout the litigation process

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months' Housing Disrepair litigation experience
• Experience managing your own caseload
• Strong understanding of the litigation process
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• LPC preferred but not essential
• Ability to work independently and proactively
