Costs Draftsman
Oldham – £30,000 - £40,000
The Role
The Cost Draftsman will be responsible for preparing Bills of Costs and supporting a range of costs-related matters. Depending on experience, there will also be opportunities to work on costs budgets and more complex drafting work.
The team uses industry-leading systems, including CostMaster and ProClaim, and offers flexibility around working arrangements, with hybrid and remote working options available where appropriate.
To support a successful transition into the business, each new team member is assigned a dedicated buddy and benefits from ongoing support from an experienced Team Leader.
Candidate Requirements
The client is open to considering candidates across all levels of experience within costs drafting, provided they can demonstrate the relevant technical skills and experience required for the role.
Suitable candidates will have:
- Experience preparing Bills of Costs
- Exposure to costs budgeting (desirable but not essential)
- Strong billing experience and the ability to develop into broader costs drafting work
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
