  • Handling challenges to the validity of wills, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, and disputes involving executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and estate administration.
  • Providing strategic advice on litigation risks, settlement opportunities, and dispute resolution options.
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, applications, correspondence, and settlement agreements.
  • Managing matters from initial instruction through to mediation, trial, or negotiated settlement.
  • Attending mediations, court hearings, and client meetings.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across private client and dispute resolution teams.
  • Contributing to business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in contentious trusts and probate law.
Candidate Profile Applications are welcomed from solicitors who can demonstrate:
  • Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales with approximately 2–5 years' PQE.
  • Strong experience in contentious probate, trusts disputes, or closely related commercial/private wealth litigation.
