Remote Working (minimal office attendance will be required - 1 day a month)

Douglas Scott is working with a leading firm that is expanding its highly regarded Energy & Resource Management team.

The Opportunity:
The successful candidate will play a central role in delivering major projects, including:
  • Supporting procurement and delivery of large-scale energy and infrastructure schemes.
  • Negotiating and structuring commercial agreements.
  • Acting as a key contact for clients across both public and private sectors.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on innovative solutions.
  
The work spans areas such as renewables, heat networks, EV infrastructure, waste projects, hydrogen, carbon capture and net zero initiatives.
  
What they’re looking for:
  • 5+ PQE Solicitor with experience in commercial, projects or construction law.
  • Private practice or In-House experience.
  • Exposure to PFI/PPP or complex contractual arrangements.
  • Strong commercial judgement and problem-solving ability.
  • Confidence managing client relationships and supervising junior lawyers.
  • Interest in developing within the energy and sustainability sector.
