Real Estate Managing Associate

London – £115,000 - £130,000

Commercial Real Estate | London High-performing platform. Premium work. Real visibility.

This is an opportunity to join one of London’s most dynamic and well-resourced real estate teams, operating at the intersection of private wealth, corporate capital, and complex development.

The firm is widely recognised for its strength in high-value, multi-jurisdictional work and is particularly well known as a top-tier disputes powerhouse, giving its real estate lawyers access to complex, often contentious-led transactional work that goes beyond standard deal flow. The wider real estate group is large, full-service, and highly ranked across the legal directories, with strong integration across finance, construction, planning, and tax.

This is a broad, high-quality commercial real estate position at Managing Associate level, offering strong autonomy and exposure.
You’ll work across:
  • Acquisitions and disposals of investment assets
  • Landlord and tenant matters, including complex lease negotiations
  • Asset management for sophisticated investor clients
  • Real estate elements of large-scale corporate transactions and financings
  • Development-led work across key sectors (logistics, office, life sciences, living, hospitality)
The work is varied, often high-value, and frequently tied to wider strategic mandates involving corporate, private wealth, or disputes teams.
The Team The real estate group is:
  • One of the largest and most diverse in London, covering the full property lifecycle
  • Structured as a true full-service offering: investment, development, construction, planning, finance, disputes, and tax
  • Known for acting for a blend of institutional investors, developers, and high-net-worth clients, giving a unique market perspective
You’ll be part of a collaborative, well-integrated team where:
  • Senior lawyers have genuine client exposure and responsibility
  • There is strong cross-practice interaction (particularly with disputes and private wealth)
  • Technology and innovation (including proptech and AI tools) are actively embedded into delivery
What You’ll Need
  • 5–8 PQE in commercial real estate
  • Strong technical grounding across transactional real estate work
  • Confidence managing clients and running matters with appropriate supervision
  • Commercial mindset with an interest in business development
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and organisational skills
Why This Role Stands Out
  • Access to complex, high-value work with a strong disputes and private wealth angle
  • Large, well-ranked team with genuine depth and deal flow
  • Strong internal network and cross-referral opportunities
  • Clear progression path at Managing Associate level
  • Modern, tech-enabled approach to legal delivery
  • Collaborative culture with high-performing but accessible partners

If you’re operating at senior/managing associate level and want to step into a platform offering better work, stronger visibility, and long-term progression, this is a compelling move.
