Overview
A highly regarded regional law firm are seeking an experienced Care Solicitor to join its office in Solihull. The role will entail working as a Head of Legal to lead a Family Care team. This role combines leadership, advocacy, and Legal Aid supervision within a growing department.
Key Duties
- Lead and supervise the Care Department
- Act as Legal Aid Supervisor (LAA compliance)
- Manage a caseload of care proceedings
- Conduct advocacy at all stages
- Drive team performance and growth
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Children Panel member or Advanced Family Panel
- Strong experience in public children law
- Proven supervisory/management experience
- Confident advocate
