Embark on an exciting journey with a leading legal firm, as we seek an experienced Costs Draftsman to join our dynamic team. This permanent role offers a competitive salary range of £30,000 to £35,000 plus bonus, with the opportunity to work in our Manchester or Liverpool offices, or remotely for the right candidate.
- Collaborate with our solicitors and fee earners to ensure accurate costs schedules and timely recovery of costs following successful case outcomes.- Play a key role in supporting high-quality client care across Housing Disrepair and EPA cases.- Be part of a collaborative and driven team where your expertise will make a real impact.

Preferred Requirements:
- Liaise with fee earners and solicitors on concluded cases
- Draft legal costs for court hearings relating to Statutory Nuisance claims under the Environmental Protection Act 1990
- Prepare and negotiate costs for Housing Disrepair and Breach of Contract claims
- Supervise junior costs paralegals within the in-house Costs Team
- Assist with enforcement of legal costs and/or damages (desirable, not essential)
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to prioritise and manage a busy workload under tight deadlines
