Catastrophic Injury Team Leader

Are you an experienced leader with a passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes in complex, high-value personal injury cases? My client is a national, Legal 500 firm in Leeds who is going through a period of expansion and growth. As a result they are looking to recruit a Team Leader to join their Catastrophic Injury division and play a key role in shaping the success of the business and their clients. This role can be hybrid or fully remote.

About the Role:

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of Fee Earners handling catastrophic injury claims, including cases involving serious brain injury, spinal injury, and life-changing trauma. You will drive performance, ensure technical excellence, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of fee earners to achieve high performance and quality standards
• Oversee complex catastrophic injury cases, providing technical guidance and support
• Monitor and manage team KPIs, ensuring targets are consistently met or exceeded
• Promote a client-centric approach, ensuring outstanding service delivery at every stage
• Identify training needs and support professional development within the team
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and process improvements within the department
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor or Fellow of CILEX with right to litigate with over 8+ Years PQE.
• Proven experience in personal injury law, with strong exposure to catastrophic injury cases valued over £3m
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong technical expertise and the ability to mentor and develop others
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Results-driven with a proactive and solution-focused mindset
• A commitment to delivering exceptional client care
