Restructuring and Insolvency Associate
Birmingham – £45,000 - £55,000
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters for a varied client base including insolvency practitioners, lenders, directors, and corporates.The Role
- Work closely with an experienced Partner and a team of senior lawyers nationally
- Advise on all aspects of recovery, restructuring, and insolvency matters
- Draft applications under the Insolvency Act, Part 7 claims, court applications, and correspondence to clients
- Provide practical, commercial solutions in fast-moving and complex matters
- Get exposure to both contentious and non-contentious work, including business sales from distressed situations, lender advice, director conduct matters, bankruptcy and winding up petitions
- Contribute to business development initiatives
- 2–6 PQE with experience in both contentious and non-contentious insolvency work
- Technically strong with excellent drafting skills
- Confident in providing pragmatic, commercial advice to a diverse range of clients
- Keen to get involved in business development and contribute to the growth of the team
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple matters efficiently
