Corporate Junior Associate - Manchester £65-£70,000 + bonus + hybrid working

A national commercial law firm with an established presence in Manchester is looking to recruit a Corporate Associate to join its growing corporate team.

The firm has a strong reputation for advising entrepreneurial businesses, management teams and investors on a broad range of transactions. The Manchester corporate team is particularly active in the mid-market space and continues to see consistent deal flow across M&A, private equity and strategic investments.

This is a good opportunity for a junior corporate lawyer who wants exposure to quality transactions while working closely with experienced partners in a supportive and collaborative team.

The Role You will work as part of a busy corporate team advising on:
• Mergers and acquisitions
• Private equity and investment transactions
• Management buy-outs and buy-ins
• Shareholder agreements and joint ventures
• Corporate restructuring and governance matters

You will be encouraged to take ownership of elements of transactions while working closely with partners and senior lawyers on larger deals.

What They Are Looking For
• Experience gained at a recognised commercial firm
• Exposure to transactional work such as M&A or investments
• Strong drafting and technical ability
• A commercially minded approach to client work
