An established and progressive law firm with offices in South Manchester is seeking to recruit a Family Law Solicitor to join its team, based primarily in its office close to Stockport.
 
The firm is led by an experienced Senior Principal with over 20 years in practice and has received national recognition for its work, including a prestigious industry award.

The Role
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of family law matters, providing expert legal advice and representation to clients.
 
Key responsibilities include:
 
- Advising clients on divorce, child arrangements and financial matters
- Drafting legal documents including petitions, statements and court applications
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients where appropriate
- Representing clients at court hearings and other proceedings
- Maintaining accurate case records and managing client communications
- Keeping up to date with developments in family law
- Working collaboratively with third parties such as social workers and financial advisers
 
About You
 
- Qualified solicitor with experience in family law
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident using IT systems for case management and documentation
