Embark on an exciting journey in your career, I am currently partnered with a leading Defendant firm seeking talented Associates and Senior Associates to join their award-winning Health Litigation team. Do you have experience in clinical negligence and are seeking your next step, with the opportunity to diversify your experience with a Defendant firm? My client offers the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload of high value clinical negligence claims, specializing in obstetric and neonatal cases, including brain injuries.This is an exceptional chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will also Defend clinical negligence claims for NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts, and other defendant clinical negligence clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse evidence, organize investigations, and draft reports to advise clients
- Interview witnesses, instruct experts, and prepare for court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution
- Supervise and support the development of junior team members through delegation and coaching
- Build and maintain strong client and internal relationships, adhering to operational procedures
- Contribute to business development by seeking new opportunities and delivering client training and presentations
- Qualified Solicitor with 3-9 years of post-qualification experience
- NHS Resolution Panel firm or medical defense organization (MDO) experience is preferred, but not essential
- Willingness to develop expertise in NHS Resolution's EN Scheme and maternity-related claims
