Catastrophic Injury Solicitor

Liverpool – £40,000 - £45,000

Embark on an exciting journey as a Catastrophic Injury Solicitor at with a highly prestigious, commercial UK Defendant Law Firm. Tackle complex, high-stakes personal injury cases involving severe brain, spinal, and amputation injuries, as well as substantial dependency fatality claims. This permanent role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients.

Responsibilities:
-Manage a diverse caseload of catastrophic and high-value personal injury claims
-Collaborate with a team of experienced legal professionals to provide expert, comprehensive services
-Contribute to the growth and success of the Large Loss practice
-Assist partners and manage your own caseload of catastrophic and high-value personal injury cases
-Conduct initial investigations, report to clients, and prepare internal strategy reports
-Liaise with solicitors, insurers, authorities, and witnesses to gather evidence
-Instruct various experts as appropriate and attend court hearings, conferences, and joint settlement meetings
-Contribute to the management, supervision, and development of junior team members

Preferred Qualifications
-Qualified Solicitor with 0-3 years of post-qualification experience
-Demonstrable experience in either defendant or claimant personal injury litigation, preferably in motor, employers' liability, or public liability claims
-High value large loss work is not strictly necessary
-Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
