Court of Protection / Private Client Solicitor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor to join a growing and highly regarded Court of Protection and Private Client team.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a varied and rewarding caseload whilst being part of a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service and contributing to the continued development of the department.
The Role You will be responsible for:

• Managing a caseload of Court of Protection and Private Client matters
• Advising on Property and Financial Affairs Deputyships
• Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning matters
• Handling Probate and Estate Administration matters
• Supporting vulnerable clients and their families
• Liaising with the Court of Protection, financial institutions and other professional parties
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

The Candidate The successful applicant will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Fee Earner
• Have experience in Court of Protection and/or Private Client work
• Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills
• Be capable of managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
• Possess strong organisational and time management skills
• Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team
• Be looking to develop their career within a progressive and supportive firm
