An established law firm in Sale is looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor who is operating at Head of Department or Partner level, or someone with the ambition to progress into a senior leadership role in the future.
 
This is an opportunity to join a friendly and established team, manage a varied caseload and play a key role in the continued development of the department, with scope to take on greater responsibility as the firm grows.
 
The Role

• Manage a varied caseload covering Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate, Estate Administration and Trusts.
• Advise clients on estate planning, succession planning and complex, high-value estates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, professional contacts and referrers.
• Support and mentor colleagues, sharing technical knowledge and experience.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the Private Client department.
• Identify opportunities to develop new business and strengthen the firm's presence in the local market.
• Ensure matters progress efficiently and comply with regulatory and professional standards.
• Take on leadership and departmental responsibilities, depending on experience and career aspirations.

About You

• A qualified Solicitor with strong experience in Private Client law, ideally 5+ years' PQE.
• Confident managing a varied caseload independently.
• Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Probate, Trusts, Estate Administration and succession planning.
• Excellent communication, organisational and client care skills.
• Commercially aware, with an interest in developing client relationships and business opportunities.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience would be beneficial, but ambition to progress into management is equally welcome.
• STEP qualification desirable but not essential.
