Conveyancing Assistant South Manchester | Full-time | Permanent

An established and growing law firm in South Manchester is looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy residential property team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous conveyancing experience who wants to develop their skills within a supportive team handling a varied residential property caseload.

The Role

• Supporting conveyancers with the day-to-day management of residential property transactions.
• Assisting with sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Preparing and issuing correspondence and legal documentation.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors.
• Requesting searches, obtaining information and chasing outstanding paperwork.
• Maintaining accurate case files and ensuring matters progress efficiently.
• Providing a high standard of client care throughout the transaction.

About You

• Previous experience in a conveyancing assistant or residential property role.
• Good understanding of the conveyancing process.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills and a professional approach to client care.
• Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience with case management systems would be beneficial.
