A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join one of York’s leading law firms and become part of a highly regarded, long-established private client team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ Solicitor or an experienced private client lawyer with solid experience across the discipline, who is looking to join a firm where they can genuinely build their career, develop their client base and play an active role in the continued growth of the team.

You’ll be joining a well-established and highly supportive team, working with an excellent client base and benefiting from the expertise and reputation of one of the region’s leading firms. There is also plenty of scope for you to be proactive — whether that’s developing existing relationships, building your own network or bringing in new opportunities.

You will have the opportunity to advise on the full range of private client matters, including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Trusts
• Tax and inheritance tax planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Wealth and succession planning
• A broad range of other private client matters

You’ll work closely with a fantastic client base, building strong and lasting relationships while having the freedom and support to develop your own profile and network.

I'm looking to speak to Private Client Solicitors at NQ level or above with solid experience in private client work.

You’ll ideally be:

• Technically strong with a genuine interest in private client law
• Client-focused and confident in developing relationships
• Commercial and proactive in your approach
• Keen to build and develop your own client base
• A strong communicator and team player
• Ambitious and looking for a firm where you can progress
