Our client is seeking an experienced Costs Negotiator to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work with a specialist legal costs firm, applying expert negotiation skills to manage and resolve costs disputes and billing matters. The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of legal costs practice and a track record of achieving favourable outcomes for clients.
- Negotiate and resolve legal costs disputes with confidence and precision
- Work with a dedicated team focused on costs law and practice

- Proven experience as a Costs Negotiator or in a similar costs advisory role
- Strong knowledge of legal costs principles, assessment procedures, and relevant legislation
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex disputes
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with costs schedules and documentation
- Professional approach to client and stakeholder management
- Qualification as a Legal Costs Draftsman or equivalent professional accreditation
- Membership of the Association of Legal Costs Lawyers (ALCC) or similar professional body
- Experience working within a legal costs firm or in-house legal department
