This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Childcare Solicitor looking to develop their career and work towards Children Panel membership.
 
They role are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Childcare Solicitor to join a Legal 500 firm in Leicester.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for an advocate who is passionate about children law and wants to build a long-term career within a supportive, high-quality legal environment.
 
You will manage a varied caseload of public and private children law matters, including care and supervision proceedings, Emergency Protection Orders, Interim Care Orders, Special Guardianship Orders and adoption. You will also have the opportunity to undertake private law work, including Rule 16.4 appointments representing children.

You will have:

• A strong knowledge of children and family law.
• Experience of handling a children law caseload.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills.
• A professional, empathetic and compassionate approach to working with children and families.
• The ability to manage your own caseload effectively and work well as part of a team.
• A genuine commitment to achieving high standards and delivering an excellent service to clients.
• A clear interest in developing your advocacy career and, ideally, Children Panel membership.
