A reputable and well-established regional law firm is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Criminal Solicitor to join its team, based at its central Leeds office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and respected criminal law team, with the opportunity to work on a broad and varied caseload.

You will handle a diverse range of criminal matters, representing clients throughout the criminal justice process. Your caseload will include matters such as:

• Murder and manslaughter
• Serious and common assaults
• Theft and robbery
• Sexual offences
• Arson and other serious offences
• Road traffic offences
• General criminal defence matters

You will have the opportunity to develop your advocacy and case management skills while working on a varied caseload and representing clients at different stages of criminal proceedings.

We are keen to hear from qualified solicitors at NQ level and above who have experience in criminal law.

You will ideally have:

• A strong interest in criminal defence work
• Experience handling a criminal caseload
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and case management abilities
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• A client-focused and professional approach
• A commitment to providing high-quality legal representation
