Residential Conveyancer

Frome – £45,000 - £60,000

Residential Conveyancer , Somerset

Finally An Opportunity Worth Moving For !

How would you like to enjoy good work, great people and a real career opportunity.

You may not be looking to move.

In fact, if you're an experienced residential conveyancer who is happy where you are, we're probably not the easiest firm to tempt you away from your current role.

But if the right opportunity came along — one offering good quality work, genuine autonomy, a supportive team and the chance to make your mark — would you take a look?

My client is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a close-knit Residential Property team.
This is not a role where you'll get lost in a large department, become another fee earner on a spreadsheet or spend your days battling through an unmanageable caseload.
You'll have your own clients, your own files, proper responsibility and the opportunity to become a key part of the team.

Why make the move?

Because sometimes the next step isn't about chasing a bigger title.
It's about finding a firm where you can do good work, enjoy coming to work and actually be noticed for what you contribute.

Here, you'll have:
Quality work
A strong pipeline of residential conveyancing work means you can concentrate on doing what you're good at — running transactions properly and delivering an excellent service to your clients.
Real autonomy
You'll manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion, with the freedom to take ownership of your files and your client relationships.
A team that actually supports you
We're a genuinely close-knit department. People share knowledge, help each other and care about getting things right. You'll have experienced colleagues around you without someone constantly looking over your shoulder.
The chance to stand out
In a smaller, friendly team, good people get noticed. Your ideas, your client relationships and the quality of your work can make a real difference.
A better balance
We're a family-friendly firm and believe that a successful career shouldn't come at the expense of having a life outside work. We offer a genuinely supportive environment and a sensible approach to work-life balance.

What will you be doing?
You'll run your own residential conveyancing files from initial instruction through to completion, dealing directly with clients and the professionals involved in each transaction.
Your day-to-day work will include:
  • Reviewing titles and property documentation
  • Raising and responding to enquiries
  • Preparing contracts and conveyancing documentation
  • Managing exchanges and completions
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents and lenders
  • Keeping transactions moving and clients informed
  • Building and maintaining excellent client relationships
  • Taking ownership of your caseload and delivering a high level of service
We're ideally looking for someone with 3 years'+ residential conveyancing experience, who is confident managing their own caseload and takes pride in doing things properly.

The kind of team you'll be joining

The department is headed by a Partner with more than 20 years' experience in residential conveyancing, giving you access to a depth of knowledge and experience that is invaluable when you need it.
But this isn't about being micromanaged.
It's about having the support around you to do your best work — and the freedom to make your role your own.

And the practical benefits?
  • Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience
  • 28 days' holiday plus bank holidays
  • Enhanced maternity pay
  • Full-time position
  • Family-friendly working environment
  • Genuine work-life balance
  • Friendly high street office
  • Supportive and approachable leadership
  • Strong pipeline of residential conveyancing work
This could be the move you weren't looking for.
If you're an experienced residential conveyancer and your current role is fine but you're wondering whether there could be something better — this is worth a conversation.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to talk.
