Employment Solicitor | NQ - 3 Years' PQE | Cheshire
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a well-established and growing law firm with offices across Cheshire and Greater Manchester.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, acting for employers and employees across a variety of sectors. You will join a supportive team environment, working closely with experienced colleagues while developing your own caseload and contributing to the continued growth of the department.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters for both employer and employee clients.
- Advising on a wide range of workplace issues, including disciplinary and grievance matters, contracts of employment, redundancy, settlement agreements and Employment Tribunal claims.
- Representing clients at Employment Tribunal hearings and other proceedings where appropriate.
- Assisting on more complex matters alongside senior members of the team.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through the delivery of practical, commercial advice.
- Supporting business development initiatives and helping to raise the profile of the Employment team.
- Maintaining accurate file management and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
About You
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with up to three years' post-qualification experience in Employment Law.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience managing employment law matters with an understanding of both contentious and advisory work.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- A collaborative approach with the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and sound commercial awareness.
- Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office.
