Hybrid Working: Office based initially, followed by 2 days working from home per week after probation
A well-established and highly regarded specialist Family Law practice is looking to appoint a Public Law Solicitor to join its growing Rochdale office.
This is an expansion hire rather than a replacement, offering an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and successful Public Law team.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Partner and Head of the Rochdale office and manage a caseload of Public Law Children matters, including Care Proceedings.
The Role
• Managing a varied caseload of Public Law Children matters
• Conducting Care Proceedings work
• Advising clients throughout proceedings
• Working alongside experienced Family Law specialists
• Undertaking advocacy where appropriate
• Building long-term relationships with clients and professionals
Requirements
• Qualified Solicitor with 1-4 years' PQE
• Experience handling Public Law Children matters
• Care Proceedings experience preferred
• Strong communication and client care skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently
• Committed to long-term career development
