An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor to join a highly respected and expanding regional law firm as Head of Family.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of an established department, working alongside the wider management team to drive growth, mentor team members and further develop an already successful Family offering.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will lead the Family department whilst maintaining a caseload of high-quality privately funded matters.
The role would suit either an existing Head of Family, Legal Director, Partner or ambitious Senior Associate seeking the opportunity to step into a leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
• Leading and developing the Family department
• Managing a caseload of privately funded Family matters
• Divorce and separation matters
• Financial remedy cases
• Private Children Act proceedings
• Business development and networking
• Mentoring and supervising junior team members
• Supporting the strategic growth of the department
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
What We're Looking For
• Qualified Solicitor with significant Family Law experience
• Strong background in privately funded matters
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Commercial awareness
