An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a leading law firm in York with an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional client service.

You'll be joining a highly regarded Residential Property team, providing dedicated support to three experienced Solicitors. Working closely with the Residential Property team, you will play a key role in ensuring transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting three Solicitors with a varied caseload of residential property transactions
  • Preparing legal documents and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors
  • Managing files and updating case management systems
  • Carrying out searches and Land Registry applications
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries
  • Providing administrative support throughout the conveyancing process
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Assistant within residential property is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work effectively within a team
  • A proactive and professional approach to your work
