North Yorkshire – £55,000 - £65,000

Role Overview

This is a senior, advocacy-led costs litigation role requiring a strong background in costs law, client-facing work, and detailed assessments. The successful candidate will be confident managing advocacy responsibilities at a level comparable to a specialist negotiation team and will bring well-developed technical and strategic expertise gained over approximately 7–10 years+ experience.

The role covers a range of costs case management systems, including CostMaster and ProClaim. This is a remote position, with attendance at court hearings required in Yorkshire as needed.

Candidate Profile

The client is seeking an experienced costs professional with:

• Around 7–10 years+ experience in costs litigation and advocacy
• Strong technical knowledge of costs assessment and negotiation
• Confident client-facing and courtroom presence
• Ability to manage complex and detailed work independently
