An established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team in Stockport. The Opportunity
 
Working alongside experienced colleagues, the successful candidate will advise clients on a broad range of private client matters, delivering practical and compassionate guidance through often sensitive legal issues. This role offers a balance of autonomy, high-quality work, and the opportunity to contribute to the strategic development of the department.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse caseload of private client matters, including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection work.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
• Managing fee income, billing, time recording, and work in progress in line with departmental objectives.
• Supporting the continued growth and development of the Private Client team.
• Providing mentoring and guidance to junior team members where appropriate.
• Advising clients on complex estate planning and succession matters with professionalism and empathy.
• Participating in networking and business development activities to strengthen existing relationships and generate new opportunities.

About the Candidate
 
The firm is keen to speak with Private Client Solicitors who possess:

• A minimum of 4 years' PQE within Private Client law.
• Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, LPAs, and related matters.
• Outstanding client care and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and commercially aware approach.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional client service.
