A well-established high street law firm is seeking a Senior Conveyancer or Head of Conveyancing (3 Years PQE+) to lead its residential property department following a recent acquisition of the practice and the planned retirement of the current Partner.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancing professional looking to take ownership of an established department with significant growth potential. The firm enjoys a strong local reputation and benefits from longstanding relationships with estate agents and introducers, resulting in a consistent flow of quality instructions and repeat business.
 
The Role
 
You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload while overseeing the department's continued growth and development. Working alongside an experienced Conveyancing Assistant, you will have genuine autonomy to influence the direction of the team and play a key role in the firm's future expansion plans.
 
With a planned relocation to a larger Manchester office in early 2027, this role offers the opportunity to become a central figure in the next phase of the firm's growth.
 
Requirements

• Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancer with a minimum of 3 years' PQE (or equivalent experience).
• Strong experience handling a full range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
• Previous supervisory or management experience is desirable but not essential.
• Commercially minded with an interest in developing and growing a department.
• Strong client care and relationship management skills.
