A well-established and highly regarded law firm in the Greater Manchester area is seeking an experienced Solicitor or FCILEx to join its expanding Court of Protection team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior practitioner with substantial Court of Protection experience to take on a varied and high-quality caseload within a supportive, collaborative and progressive working environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of complex Court of Protection matters, including high-level and strategic work, together with litigated matters where required. The role involves working closely alongside an experienced team of solicitors and paralegals, with the opportunity to play a key part in the continued growth and development of the department.
The position would particularly suit a candidate who enjoys mentoring junior team members, assisting with supervision and contributing towards business development and marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or FCILEx with 6+ years' PQE
- Strong prior experience handling Court of Protection matters
- Ability to independently manage a complex caseload
- Experience dealing with strategic and high-level matters
- Previous supervisory experience, or willingness to supervise junior team members
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- A proactive approach to supporting the continued growth and development of the team
