Non-Contentious Construction Associate

City of London – £135,000 - £145,000

London | Elite International Firm | Market-Leading Practice

A leading international law firm is looking to strengthen its London Construction & Engineering team with the hire of a Non-Contentious Construction Associate.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a junior to mid-level construction lawyer to join a genuinely high-performing team acting on some of the market's most significant real estate, infrastructure and development projects. The group is continuing to grow strategically and is keen to speak with ambitious lawyers looking to develop within a long-term platform.

The team is particularly interested in candidates from strong construction practices who are looking for greater quality of work, stronger mentoring and a clearer progression pathway.

You will advise developers, investors, funds, contractors and major corporates on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters, including:
  • Development and regeneration projects
  • Real estate-led construction transactions
  • Construction aspects of corporate and finance deals
  • JCT and NEC contracts
  • Consultant appointments and collateral warranties
  • Development agreements and project support work
  • High-value commercial and mixed-use developments
The practice forms part of a wider international projects and real estate platform, meaning there is consistent exposure to complex, cross-border and premium-quality matters.

The London construction team is in growth mode and actively investing in talent across a number of levels. The wider practice has an established senior bench and is now looking to further strengthen its associate pipeline as part of its long-term expansion plans.

The firm is keen to attract high-calibre lawyers who are technically strong, commercially minded and capable of contributing to the continued development of a market-leading practice.

The team would be interested in speaking with candidates who:
  • Have experience in non-contentious construction law
  • Trained and/or qualified at a recognised commercial firm
  • Have strong drafting and transactional support experience
  • Enjoy working closely with clients and senior lawyers
  • Are looking for a long-term platform with genuine progression opportunities
  • Want exposure to higher-quality and more complex work
Candidates at 1-4PQE are of particular interest.

Why Consider This Role?
  • Excellent quality of work and client base
  • Strong pipeline of incoming work
  • Genuine investment into the London construction offering
  • Supportive team environment with strong mentoring
  • Opportunity to join a growing practice at an exciting stage
  • Clear progression potential within an internationally recognised platform
