A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced and technically strong Conveyancing Manager to join its growing residential property team on a full-time permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior conveyancer looking to step into a dedicated management role within a highly regarded and fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for managing and supporting a team of up to 12 conveyancing fee earners who handle high-volume residential property caseloads.
This is a pure management position, meaning you will not be expected to manage your own caseload. Instead, your focus will be on team leadership, technical support, performance management, compliance, and ensuring the smooth running of the department.
The role is offered on a hybrid basis from the firm’s Leeds office, although fully remote working may also be considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and mentoring a team of up to 12 conveyancing fee earners
- Providing technical guidance and support across all aspects of residential conveyancing
- Monitoring team performance, productivity, and compliance standards
- Supporting training and development within the team
- Assisting with process improvement and operational efficiencies
- Ensuring excellent client service standards are maintained throughout the department
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 5 years’ solid residential conveyancing experience
- Strong technical knowledge across the full conveyancing process
- Experience handling:
- New build transactions
- Building Safety Act (BSA) matters
- Shared ownership transactions
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring team members would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A desire to move into or further develop within a management-focused role
