A modern, fast-growing commercial law business with a nationwide reputation for specialist debt recovery litigation is expanding its team and is seeking a Paralegal to join its newly developed Commercial Debt Recovery department based in Oldham.
 
The firm operates very differently from a traditional practice, offering a dynamic, business-focused environment where performance, progression and commercial thinking are at the centre of everything it does. The team acts for a well-established client base ranging from SMEs through to large national and international organisations.
 
The Role

The successful candidate will join a busy and fast-paced commercial recoveries team, working closely with the team lead on a varied caseload of debt recovery matters. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to the full debt recovery process from instruction through to resolution, providing an excellent platform to develop technical knowledge and commercial experience.
 
Candidate Requirements

The firm is seeking a bright, motivated and proactive individual with a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
 
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work well within a team while also taking ownership of individual tasks. Previous experience in a legal environment is desirable, and prior exposure to debt recovery would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
