A respected law firm south of Leamington Spa is looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Head of Conveyancing / Senior Fee Earner to support the leadership and growth of its busy Residential Conveyancing department.
This role combines managing a varied caseload with supporting the Head of Department in supervising and mentoring the team, driving performance, and ensuring compliance standards are maintained.
The Role
- Manage a busy residential conveyancing caseload including sales, purchases, leasehold, shared ownership, and transfers of equity
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Assist with departmental management, compliance, KPIs, and file reviews
- Contribute to business development and networking activities
- 5+ years’ PQE as a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer
- Strong residential conveyancing experience
- Previous supervisory or mentoring experience
- Sound knowledge of AML regulations, CQS Protocol, and SRA requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
