Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

Lancashire – £46,500 - £54,500

Residential Conveyancer
Location: Littleborough (commutable from Manchester)

A newly established residential conveyancing firm with an immediate live caseload, strong referral pipelines, and ambitious growth plans is seeking an experienced conveyancer to join as part of its founding team.
This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and play a key role in shaping the firm's systems, processes, and long-term direction, rather than stepping into a traditional fee-earning position.

The Opportunity

This role is suited to an experienced conveyancer who is looking for more than just a caseload, offering genuine autonomy, trust, and the chance to contribute to how a firm is built and developed. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership, with clear scope to influence operations, client experience, and future growth.

The Role
  • Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including:
    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
    • New build transactions
    • Unregistered land
    • Right to Buy
    • Site set-up and plot sales
    • Re-mortgages and refinance matters
    • Lease extensions
  • Contributing to process improvement and operational development
  • Building and maintaining relationships with agents, lenders, and referrers
  • Supporting the firm's ongoing growth strategy and service offering
Progression & Development
  • Clear pathway into a senior or leadership role as the firm expands
  • Opportunity to take on increased responsibility across people, processes, or departments
  • Potential for profit-linked or performance-based incentives aligned with contribution
  • The chance to play a key role in the long-term success of a growing business
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum of 4 years' PQE (or equivalent) in residential conveyancing (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive)
  • Confident managing a full caseload independently
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential property and land law
  • Commercially aware, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong client and professional relationships
  • Motivated by long-term growth and the opportunity to contribute to a developing firm
Location

Based in Littleborough, with a convenient commute of approximately 20 minutes from Manchester Piccadilly.
