Are you a Court of Protection specialist looking for the next step in your career?Our client, a well-established and fast-growing regional law firm, is seeking a Court of Protection Solicitor to join their thriving team.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading team that manages a substantial value of client funds and provides high-quality legal support to individuals who have suffered acquired brain injuries and received significant damages to fund their extensive needs. As a key part of the team, you will:
- Handle Professional Deputyship and Personal Injury Trust matters
- Work closely with the Heads of Department and senior colleagues
- Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Court of Protection and PI Trust matters
- Open PQE level
- COP experience (ideally within property and affairs)
- Excellent communication and client-care skills
- Ability to work independently while being a team player

Francesca Turner, Associate Director and Head of National Insurance at Douglas Scott for over 8 years, specialises in placing Paralegals and Solicitors into Personal Injury law firms across London, working with clients ranging from sole practitioners to international firms. Before joining in 2017, Francesca gained experience in the Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury market as part of an Expert Liaison team at an insurance company. She holds a Primary School Teaching degree from the University of Lancashire and A-levels in Business Studies, English, and Religious Studies.
