A well-regarded and forward-thinking firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary / Legal Support Assistant to join its
Private Client team in Macclesfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and highly organised individual to play a key role in supporting legal advisors and ensuring a seamless client experience in areas such as Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
This position would suit someone with previous legal secretarial experience who enjoys being at the heart of a busy team, managing workflows, and providing high-quality administrative support in a professional Private Client environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with legal advisors and wider client services teams, helping to keep matters progressing efficiently while maintaining excellent standards of client care.
Key responsibilities include: - Managing diaries, inboxes, and meeting arrangements for fee earners
- Liaising with clients and third parties to progress Private Client matters smoothly
- Handling billing processes, compliance checks, and file management
- Supporting wider team activities including events, marketing, and CRM updates
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. A proactive approach, the ability to prioritise workloads, and solid IT skills are essential, along with a professional and confidential manner.
