Role: NQ Employment Solicitor / Employment Paralegal
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: Competitive DOE

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be working closely with experienced fee earners on a full range of Employment Tribunal matters. Your day-to-day will include:

• Preparing Early Case Assessments, drafting ET3 responses and handling client and Tribunal communications.
• Reviewing case papers, managing Preliminary Hearings and assisting with the preparation of witness statements.
• Attending Tribunal hearings when required, providing support and taking clear, reliable notes.
• Carrying out legal research that informs case strategy and supports ongoing matters.
• Preparing hearing and disclosure bundles, organising documents and keeping files in excellent order.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a consistent and professional service to clients.

About You

You’ll already have at least 12 months’ experience working in employment law, either as an NQ solicitor or as a paralegal with solid exposure to the area. You’ll also bring:

• A good technical understanding of employment law and how it applies in real situations.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Emerging advocacy skills and the confidence to develop them further.
• A genuine interest in employment and HR, and in helping clients navigate tricky issues.
• Strong organisation, great attention to detail and the ability to manage your time well.
